Kobe is such an inspiration to me. When I was a kid in school, he was the reason I played basketball when all my friends played soccer. He had so much finesse; he was such an incredible athlete. He was the reason I became a Lakers fan.
I was so sad to see him retire from playing but so excited to see what he would do next. Life is so fragile. This loss just hits different. My heart goes out to his family & the families of everyone else in that helicopter.
Rest In Peace, Mamba. Thank you, endlessly.
